In an attempt to use geometry as the driving force in the design I interlocked various geometric shapes to derive an undelying shape which is depicted in steps 1 -5 step 5 being the shape obtained.
I like your understanding that all geometric shapes are derived from the basic circle, square and triangle. "Sacred Geometry and Architecture" is a concept that you can research that may be of interest to you. Btw I think the picture that you posted should be rotated so that it can exhibit your concept better.
